Meet Neelu

Neelu Sethu Varghese is an NZTA-certified driving instructor (I endorsement) based in Upper Hutt. She teaches in English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, across Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Porirua.

Before DriveEZ was a driving school, it was Neelu helping friends and neighbours — mostly women who had learned to drive overseas — get comfortable behind the wheel on New Zealand roads. She converted her own overseas licence, so she knows the nerves, the paperwork and the test-day feeling first-hand.

Her teaching style is simple: patient, step by step, and in the language you think in. Every small win gets celebrated. Learning to drive is brave — and nobody should feel rushed or judged while doing it.
